The modern factory located in Fluorn-Winzeln has approximately 120 employees working in design, production, sales and after sales support. HIRSCHMANN GMBH is certified according to EN 9100 AeroCert. Distribution of the company's products and customer support is carried out through a worldwide network of company sales agents, subsidiaries and representatives.

HIRSCHMANN GMBH produces a range of products including Fixturing, Palletizing and Handling Systems for the machine tool industry. CNC Rotary Axis and OEM products such as "C" Axis and Toolchangers are also produced as well as special components for erosion and high speed milling machines according to customers' specifications. Additional products include Rod End Bearings, Spherical Bearings according DIN ISO 12240-4 and CETOP, customized special solutions and Axial Shaft Seals used in various motion related industries.

History

1957	Foundation of the marketing company for Rod Ends Carl Hirschmann AG&Co. in Stuttgart.
1961	Moved into our own, modern building in Winzeln and started production.
1966	Development and start of production of clamping system and coordinate tables for EDM machines.
1967	The production area was doubled.
1969	Acquisition of the product line "Axial Shaft Seals".
1970	Takeover of the commercial company ROBERT BUSAK KG, Stuttgart.
1973	The production area doubled again.
1980	Construction of two additional factory buildings as well as extension of stores and dispatch department.


1982	Change of the KG into a GmbH with the name HIRSCHMANN GMBH.
1990	Development and start of production of handling units for automatic loading of machine tools.
1991	Construction of an administration building with three floors and extension of the product storage.
1992	Foundation of the sales and marketing company for North Amerika, HIRSCHMANN ENG. USA, INC. with headquarters near Chicago.
1995	Foundation of the sales and marketing company for the UK, HIRSCHMANN UK LTD. with headquarters in Denbigh, England.
2002	Acquisition of the company group by the mangement.
